In the heart of the 224th Support Squadron, known fondly as EADS, lay a network shop that was the backbone of military communications and operations. This wasn't just any shop; it was SCOO, a place where technology met tradition, and camaraderie was forged in the fires of problem-solving. The shop was divided into two work centers: the Helpdesk and NetOPS, both crucial in maintaining the seamless flow of information across the base.

The Helpdesk was the first line of defense, handling everything from malfunctioning iPhones to misbehaving laptops.  On the other side of the shop was NetOPS, the nerve center for all network operations.

One of the most beloved traditions in SCOO was the slogan #DefaultSCOO. It was born out of necessity, as everyone on base, whether they had a tech problem or not, turned to SCOO for help. The team embraced this role with pride, knowing they were the unsung heroes of EADS. Another cherished phrase was SCOO 4 Life, symbolizing that once you were part of SCOO, you were family for life. This bond was so strong that former members often returned to lend a hand, drawn by the unique camaraderie that defined the shop.

The shop's mascot, the Troll, was a symbol of resilience and persistence. Legend had it that the Troll guarded the network from gremlins and glitches, a mythical protector of their digital realm. The Troll's image adorned their workspace, reminding them of their mission and the spirit of perseverance that kept them going.
